Festival of laughs hurt my head
Pedro Sampaio has a habit of pounding the microphone on his leg and hand while laughing at his own jokes, and I'm not sure why. The speakers at the Arena were blaring so loudly that I had to stuff my ears with my husband's drink napkin long before Pedro came on. I felt like Pedro was trying to keep us awake with that banging, and I was miserable. I wanted to leave. Pedro's scolding people who were trying to film him with phone cameras was a real downer. The notice about not filming should have been stated and enforced by the venue. Fussing is not funny.
Earthquake should be the headliner as he is by far the funniest on the ticket.
The Lakefront Arena needs better parking/traffic management. It took us 40 minutes to get into the parking lot because other entrances were available but closed. It would have taken 40 minutes to get out had I not taken matters into my own hands. There was no one guiding and making sure that traffic flowed after the concert. I won't be back to the Arena. I love stand up and so bought 10th row tickets.
